Arvesølvet is a traveling and family theater that takes the audience on a journey through time. We follow the journey of a simple silver spoon as it moves from generation to generation and magically connects the stories of different people and generations together.

arvesølvet – a traveling theater in Stikestad

It all starts in 1898, with the deadliest landslide in Norwegian history, the Verdalsraset. The story then finds its way to a birthday celebration in 1942 during the German occupation of Norway, and finally we end up in 1959 with a woman fighting against old-fashioned attitudes and for equality between men and women.

Produced by Stiklestad National Cultural Center and performed at the Stiklestad Folk Museum during the summer season. Marte Heie Hallem has written the script and music.
