Helper of refugees

A play about the resistance movement in Innherred during World War II. The story is inspired by Marte Hallem's own grandfather and his co-conspirators, who together fought an important battle against Hitler and the Nazis as refugees in the Verdalsfjellene mountains. The refugees' hope and efforts for a free Norway are inspiring and admirable, but also costly. In the play we see what war can do to a local community and the people who live there when they are put in difficult situations.
